Pronto recently announced that we were working with Nike Australia retail partner, Retail Prodigy Group.

Retail Prodigy Group holds the master franchise agreement with Nike in Australia and has established three Nike flagships brand stores in this country since July 2011. The company also has ambitions to grow its Australian footprint further – pun intended – to meet growing demand for the great products Nike sells.

To support its business growth and plans for future expansion, Retail Prodigy Group required an integrated Business Intelligence (BI) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution that could be scaled and evolve with the latest developments in retail technology.

We hear a lot from customers about how they use Business Intelligence to run a smoother operation and react more quickly to changes in the market. For us, what made Retail Prodigy Group unique was hearing about how they built technology in to their long-term business plan.

In challenging times for ‘bricks and mortar’ retailers, Retail Prodigy Group is a name that stands out for a range of reasons but primarily because it represents the way some players in the sector can adapt to thrive under a perceived ‘slow down’.

We’re very interested to hear from any readers out there with their own perspectives on how Australian retailers can adapt to challenges and which businesses are doing to best.
